Ezekiel has a challenge from The Lord to share what he is told - to challenge people about what they are doing that is sinful in God's eyes. This is always an uncomfortable thing, knowing that God is challenging us to challenge another person. But the motivation is clear to see - the saving of another.
It is also difficult to be on the receiving end of such a challenge. Our heckles rise and pride can kick in. Wise council from Godly friends is however priceless. Take time today to pray for people you know who are away from the will of God. And also ask Him to point out to us where we are too. Consider asking a friend to keep you accountable.
Almighty and everlasting God,
who in your tender love towards the human race
sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ
to take upon him our flesh
and to suffer death upon the cross:
grant that we may follow the example of his patience and humility,
and also be made partakers of his resurrection;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Challenging stuff. How often do I see something that's not right but don't say anything for the sake of a quiet life, to avoid upsetting the status quo or to avoid having to stand out from the crowd. My prayer is that as God challenges me about situations around, I would willing speak up in His love and truth
